Dene Cottage is a Beautifully renovated Peak District Home which is Children and dog friendly. Situated in stunning Stanton-in-the-Peak which has an award winning pub. It has been thoughtfully furnished with vintage and antique pieces to give each visitor a memorable stay.

-The Flying Childers is an award winning pub and only a few hundred meters down the hill from the cottage!

-The amazing Chatsworth house and grounds are an easy 10 minute drive away and has something for everyone; 25 rooms in the stately home to wander around, extensive grounds with waterworks, sculptures, and a Victorian rock garden as well as a farmyard and playground for children.

-The beautiful market town of Bakewell is only 4 miles from the cottage and is also accessible by a bus which runs through the village

-There are countless walks right from the doorstep, or the stunning Hope valley is only a 30 minute drive away

-Fifty meters from the front door of the cottage is Stanton Moor. It boasts more than 70 ancient burial sites and 4 Bronze Age stone circles and, because of its archaeological importance, the entirety of the moor is protected as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.

-The Monsal Trail which runs from Bakewell to Buxton through the gorgeous Cressbrook Dale and over the Monsal Head Viaduct makes for an easy walk or cycle ride.
